Me and my little Nemo ^^ i said i was going to do a gift art for her and i finally got it done!!

I tried some new things out so i am requesting Critiques for that purpose. Im still tring to find a way to do fur correctly so please pardon the lack of furriness in this picture X.x and shading is fail too... so if you critique on that please tell me specific spots to fix not just "shading"

no background cause i though it would kill the picture :( may add one later.

hmmmmmm. Well, for starters, I love how you do the eyes. The soft glow you give them (purposefully or no) is simply amazing.

Some things though, first, the shadow. It's a little too "thin" (if I can make myself understood as it is hard to describe) and too defined. This, unfortunately, makes the picture appear flat and not very believable. Try to spread your shadow, getting darker at the source of shadow and lighter farther away. If it was cell shading you were going for, then pay attention to how the light source and anatomy effects the way the shadow is shaped. What you have here is a shadow that almost exactly follows the outline (which, as there are no lines in real life, is not correct).
I'm not quite sure how to remedy this, other than maybe study some example of cell shading or (if that is not what you are trying to accomplish, study some real life photos of wolves or maybe an animal without fur as the shadows are much easier to follow) to get a better idea of how anatomy and lighting affect shadows. But, this could be quite difficult, so you could just look up some tutorials (I should have mentioned that first).
The other thing is anatomy, but I won't get into that unless you want me to.

I hope I didn't sound harsh :( this really is a beautiful picture and I love what you do with the colors and the whimsical expressions.
